我们现在生活在一个五彩缤纷、瞬息万变的世界里。随着改革开放和经济的迅猛发展，我们的生活如同“芝麻开花——节节高”。我从小跟爷爷生活在一起，现在的家和前几年相比，简直是天壤之别。过去，爷爷带着我和姐姐，依靠他那微薄的退休金生活。妈妈成天在外劳碌奔波，挣钱维持生计，可有时还得忍饥挨饿呢！现在，爷爷可不像以前那样常常为我们操碎了心，因为妈妈通过自己不懈地努力找到了称心如意的好工作，工资高，待遇好。我们的生活也像日新月异的城市建设那样发生了巨大的变化。
