Thank you for taking time to read this letter. As the problem of food safety has been becoming worse and worse nowadays, I am obliged to write to you.
Several days ago, one of my classmates came back from supermarket with a large bag of food. Because of having found a new style of tinned? In the food store, she was very glad. Several other roommates were invited to enjoy the “mouthwatering chicken”. Unfortunately, after finishing the food, all of my three friends had stomachaches and vomited, their faces having become paler and paler. Fake commodities are harmful in many ways. To begin with, it is a waste of resource, especially in our country. Second, it has bad effect on the reputation of the real manufacturers and brings about moral Crisis.
Above all, all that matters is food. People's health and lives are severely threatened if someone buys some unsafe foodstuff.
Measures should be taken to deal with the problem. On the one hand, strict laws should be passed to punish the producers and the sellers. 近年来，在我国食品安全领域出现了令人忧虑的问题。肯德鸡的“苏丹红”、豆腐中的“吊白块”、水饺中的“毒青菜”……更危险的是“三聚氰胺”，它不仅在牛奶中大量出现，还在鸡蛋中存在。这些形形的食品安全问题，就像目前全球暴发的金融危机一样，席卷整个大地，给人们的生命健康带来了严重的影响，更牵动着大家的心。
在我们的周围食品安全问题确实存在着。我的乡下老家盛产食用菌，记得上次回家时，我参观了整个香菇的制作过程。我与叔叔一起走进菇棚时，一股带着香菇味的暖流迎面赴来，叔叔告诉我这里就是做香菇的地方，并示范给我看制作过程。只见叔叔与其他小伙子在一起干了起来，我正看得着迷，可看到最后我感到什么地方出了毛病。只见他们把做好香菇筒袋，放入石蜡液体中浸泡。叔叔告诉我，用石蜡浸泡后不但可以保证菌棒不发生烂棒，同时可以防水，等香菇生展后还可以保证香菇水分不丢失，起到很好的保鲜作用。我听了他们对石蜡作用的介绍后，使我对“石蜡”这两个字越想越不对劲，决心弄个明白。
回到家里，我第一件事就是打开电脑，全力搜索有关石蜡的知识。终于明白了它的真面目。原来，蜡是一种工业用品，也叫工业石蜡，它是一种复杂的化学成分，其所含的危险成分主要是苯，它是对人体一种十分有害的物质。专家指出它是人体皮肤癌、肺癌产生的罪魁祸首。看了介绍我大吃一惊，原来这就是电视上宣传的严格禁止的“蜡菇”。看到这里，我终于明白了，这些菇农，为了自己挣大钱，追求最大的自身利益，在食用菌生产中放入了工业石蜡，制造出毒香菇。他们不知道，这种行为是犯罪行为，他不但影响了人们的生命健康，如果这些香菇出口国外还会引起外交纠纷，损害我国的国际形象，他们这样做实在是不应该啊。
原来食品安全问题就发生在我们的身边，也可能正在发生在我们的身上危害着我们的健康。我想，我们国家要高度重视食品安全这个问题，只有通过加强立法，严格执法才能制止这些问题的出现。同时做为一名小学生，我们也要积极地参与到食品安全的宣传中，让更多的人认识食品安全的危害，抵制农药食品、化学食品、问题食品，这样才能让食品安全与我们的健康同行。

但是惨剧还在不断地发生，一幕幕的悲剧还在不断地重演：2005年12月，沈阳市农安县小学发生食物中毒事件，原因就是长春一“老鼠爱大米”牌辣片。还有国家重大的4.26事件：新疆自治区昌吉州第三小学的311名小学生在饮用完学校周边“黑心店”的“袋袋水”，“甜橙饮料”，“小朋友可乐”后集体中毒。就在前两周的11月13日，在江苏省金坛市就发生了数十名学生恶心中毒的事件，而他们中仍有60多名在接受治疗。
