写作就像烧菜，有了原材料外，还要加些油盐酱醋这些作料，烧制出来的菜肴才会色、香、味俱佳。学会“添油加醋”的方法，可让作文增色不少。
语文教材本身所选的文章文质兼美，如果深入挖掘，就能发现自己有用的东西，可以作为写作的作料。
作料1：教材中的名言警句
深入透彻地理解教材，就会发现，教材中的不少语句值得借鉴，直接用或者改编地用，可让文章增色不少。如一名学生在《善待错过》一文中引用了普希金《假如生活欺骗了你》中的诗句：
善待错过，神马都是浮云，一切都将会过去，而那过去了的，就会成为亲切的怀恋。或许我们并没有错过什么，只是错过了一颗憧憬的心，拾起遗落的心，继续奔跑在生活的路上。
这样，她写的文章内涵就提升了，不只是为写读初三而错过了春游这事了。
初中六册教材中有许多优美的、富含哲理的句子，类似主题的文章，定会给你启发。
在文言文中，也有很多警句值得借鉴利用，让文章耐人寻味。一名学生写了《风景在有心情的地方》一文，写的是中考前母亲陪她一起去爬山，在爬山的过程中，既观赏了美景，又增进了母女间的交流，结尾她活用了苏轼《记承天寺夜游》中的句子，自然贴切，饶有韵味：
这个夜晚，很宁静，也很充实，灯光铺满我的眼睛，我再也找不到烦躁的心情与沉重的压力了。这是一个平凡的夜晚，平凡的风景，但由于看风景的心情不同，看到的与听到的瞬息变成最美的风景。
何处无灯，何处无山峦，只少闲人如吾两人者耳。
作料2：课外阅读中的好文、好句
平时我们读一些好的文章，因它动人的情感，或优美的语言，往往会有所触动，这时，我们就要及时地将其摘录下来。
读了毕淑敏《爱的回音壁》后，学生对文中父母不懂教育孩子的现象引起了共鸣，我就让他们写以“我学会了自己走路”或“请让我自己走路”为题的作文，学生不仅写出了自己的真实情感，同时也引用了文章中触动他们内心的句子。一个学生写道：
我愿用我的双手，去构建我的未来。相信我，有这个能力，请让我自己走路。如果孩子在无边无际的爱里泡得口眼翻白，我们应该学着去爱，不要被早早地剥夺了感知爱的能力。
文章具有自己的独立思想，又引用了毕淑敏的话，用得恰到好处。
有了以上这些作料，还要讲究写作的“烹”法。一些同学写的作文，能选取典型的事例写，也写得比较生动，有真情实感，但我发现文章总是少了一种新鲜感。这时候，可以发挥适当的想象，选取生活中或是想象中的事物，以虚写实，让文章的内涵丰富起来。
烹法1：从形似到神似
写人物的文章，如何写出新意来？在充分了解描写对象的基础上，还可以深入一层，提炼出人物的形象特点，从形似上升到神似，让人物性格鲜明起来。
一名学生写她的父亲，他父亲的外形是：头发半秃，亮光光的；皮肤黝黑，也亮晶晶的；内在性格上开朗乐观，富有朝气。她就把题目定为“太阳就在我身边”，这样写道：
温暖的阳光洒满每一个角落，慢慢地将我包围，舒坦而漫长。我一直喜欢这种被阳光盈满的感觉，充实而有安全感，所以一直苦苦追寻那一抹金色。我努力地寻找，直到心疲了才发现，原来太阳就在我身边。
这样既符合父亲的性格特点，又写出了作者离不开父亲的深厚感情。
烹法2：化无形为有形
如何表达自己想要独立的思想呢？如果直接表达出来，会显空洞，你可以借用具体的事物来表达，类似的例子教材中也是比较多的，如高尔基的《海燕》，借海燕的形象来表达作者对革命先驱的赞美之情。
做到虚实结合，化无形为有形不啻是一种丰富内涵的方法。一位同学写自己战胜自卑、重拾信心的过程，引用蒲公英的自由飞翔和蛹破茧成蝶的故事，在文章结尾，她写道：
从那天起，我不再整日低着头，而是自信地仰起头。我的文章成了老师上课的范文，我不再需要别人为我朗读文章，因为我发现原来我的声音是那么美妙动听。奋力挣脱我心灵上的茧，盈满力量，待我破茧成蝶后，定会自由地飞翔于蓝天。这一课，我学会了飞翔。如今的我是一株心怀梦想的蒲公英，我是一只摆脱束缚的蝶，尽享自由，永远忘不了这一刻的蜕变！
