这一段,我必须承认他的确是个既诚实又聪明的人,他的眼神与动作描写细致,就连一只美味的大梨扔进沟里都显示出饥饿与傲慢,真的捉摸不透啊!有时候,我为他的命运感到担心。作者的用意是什么?
我想,这事上无其不有,再说不是用钱所能衡量的。钱也是万万不能的,它换不来一颗心意;买不了一个人的思想;更加夺不走友谊,一个人就是被金钱利益所迷惑了,到了最后还是一无所有。
说到这,我家就有一个整天捧着硬币的淘气鬼——弟弟。他真是爱财如命,和他讲道理,那可遭殃,随时随地的他恨不得坑你一回。这不,他又打起鬼主意来了,什么擦凳子一元钱、扫地两元钱等。这可算不了什么,他要是丢了钱,倒要一哭二闹三上吊,搅得全家不得安宁哪。

Based on Mark Twain's novel, 'The Millionaire Pound Note' takes an interesting satirical look at the hypocrisy stemming from class distinction in the 50s England. England is a country where class and wealth are given extreme significance, especially among the rich. The film shows the hypocrisy that existed among these people, how the rich are quick to change face when in an instant they find out that you're a man of wealth and how within the next moment they revert back to their condescending selves when all wealth is lost. Interestingly, 'The Millionaire' also briefly looks at how the English perceived Americans in that era. Rich Americans were welcomed as outsiders and the poor were quickly shunned away. The fact that he's an outsider either makes him more appealing or the complete opposite. The story sticks to the main theme by emphasizing on the hypocrisy of the upper class society but at the same time it also creates a balance that prevents the movie from being a mockery of the British society. The movie drags at some point but the love story appears at the right time and there is plenty of comedy to keep one entertained. A charming Gregory Peck totally nails the part and the luminous Jane Griffiths is a treat. Reginald Beckwith, as Peck's sidekick Rock is amusing. The ending is a little predictable but the director does an overall good job by rounding it up and presenting his points.

一、什么是学案(Learning Plan)。
学案即导学方案(Guided Learning Plan),是全组英语老师集体备课的结晶。每一个单元,根据不同的课型和教学目的,由集体讨论、研究,统一体例,编写出一个较高水平的导学方案,于课前发给学生,学生根据该方案的要求自主学习,自主探究,发现问题,在课堂上相互讨论,遇到难题时教师加以点拨,从而掌握英语的基础知识,形成技能。学案向学生提出具体明确的学习目标,内容全面,重难点突出。在内容编排上与教学进程同步,使用时,实施“自主学习——发现问题——质疑讨论——问题反馈——精讲点拨——达标练习”等环节。此举减轻了学生的课业负担,使他们有更多的时间投入课堂思考问题、讨论问题及记忆知识要点上,从而提高了学习效率。学案还是学生复习时不可多得的一份精典资料。
二、学案的编写原则。
在学案的编写过程中,我们必须遵循下列原则。
1.探索性原则。编写学案的主要目的就是培养学生自主探究学习的能力。因此,学案的编写要有利于学生进行探索学习,从而激活学生的思维,让学生在问题的重新实现和解决过程中体验到成功的喜悦。
2.启发性原则。学案中设置的问题应富有启发性,能充分调动学生的思维,让学生通过自主学习,领悟知识的奥妙,培养思维的敏捷性和顿悟性。
3.灵活性原则。由于学生的基础不同,在编写时,形式上应丰富多彩,灵活多样,内容上也应尽量调动学生思维的积极性。
4.梯度化原则。问题的设置尽可能考虑到学生的认识水平和理解能力,由浅人深,小台阶、低梯度,让大多数学生“跳一跳”能够摘到“桃子”,体验到成功的喜悦,从而调动学生进一步探索的积极性。
5、创新性原则,编写学案时,强调内容创新,以培养学生的创新思维能力。
三、学案的课型设计与要求。
每个单元根据教材内容分成不同的课型以达到培养和提高学生听说读写能力的目的。教材大都以一个主题编写成对话,课文阅读、语法知识学习、听
力练习及写作训练。我们把这些项目分成听说课、阅读课、语言课、写作课、练习课及测试课,这样有的放矢地让学生全面掌握一个单元的内容。
听说课:目的在于以下几个方面:(一)通过对话材料为阅读课提供背景素材。(二)通过对话材料训练学生听懂各种场合下英美人士的交谈。(三)通过对话材料,训练学生在与对话相同场合下怎么与英美人士交流。基于以上目的,我们在编写学案时,要求学生自我与本课对话相同或相近的录音材料,听 懂后,用模仿的语音语调在课堂上表演,根据对话给山同样的场景,让学生进行交流。
阅读课:重点放在提高阅读能力的培养上。强调课文导入,抓任主题思想,记住重要细节,理解重点词及难句,探讨作者写作意图,推断文句含义及把握人物心理活动等。在学案中,我们让学生通过各种渠道搜集背景资料,对如何导入课文,如何把握主题思想,理解文章细节等都提出了一定的活动任务,要求 学生先自主学习,然后再在课堂上交流,对某些主题和观点性问题要求学生写出读后感等小文章。
语言课:主要讲解及操练本单元重点词、句型的意义及用法,掌握专项语法,如非谓语动词专项及定语从句专项等等,使学生有较强的语言基础知识功底。
写作课:根据每个单元阅读材料的内容及写作特点与风格,采取读写结合的微格技能训练方式,提供写作主题与,教授学生写作技巧与方法。
练习课:该课型旨在指导学生解题技巧、提高应试能力,增强学生对本单元知识的理解和记忆,增加一些与本单元内容相同的阅读材料,丰富学生的知识,提高学生的兴趣。
测试课:重在检查教学效果,对每位学生进行学习效果的评价,以便作好查漏补缺及培优工作。
另外,每个单元在各课型学案前,我们根据该单元的特点和目标,精心编写了一个单元的总的学习方案,让学生了解整个单元的知识概况。
四、本方案的特色及实施效果
我们认为学案式教学模式有以下特色:
1.由于学案在编写过程中发挥了全组教师的团结协作的精神,教师之间取长补短,互相学习,能促进教师业务水平的提高。所以具人“互补性”的作
用。
2.由于学案强调学生在课前或课堂上自主学习,教师引导的作用,该方案具有探索“创新性”的特色。
3.该学案有助于学生把握教学脉博,节省时间(如少抄笔记),使学生有更多的思维时间和空间。该学案是学生上课时必备的任务手册,是课后复习的
参考资料。因此,具有较强的使用价值。
以下是实践该方案以来五次大考中各班学生的平均成绩:

从以上成绩可以看出各班的平均成绩均大较好的水平上,普通班与普通班、实验班与实验班学生的成绩都非常接近。在全国性的各类英语知识能力竞
赛中取得较好的成绩。以下是获奖情况:
1、二 000年十二月份,由中央教科所外语教育研究中心、中国英语教学研究会素质教育研究中心联合主办的全国中学生英语知识能力竞赛中,我级
共18人获奖。其中一等奖6人,二等奖6人,三等奖6人。
2、二00一年四月,由中国英语教学研究会素质教育研究中心组办的全国中学生“思中杯”英语原著翻译大赛中,我级共24人获奖,其中一等奖6人,
二等奖9人,三等奖9人。
3.在最近举行的全国中学生英语知识能力竞赛中,共14人获奖。其中一等奖1人,二等奖3人,三等奖10人。
