Three years ago, I was a cool and detached girl. I never helped others or cried, because I thought that was very boring.
One day an unusual girl rushed into my life. She looks like a boy and she is also very lovely. She is very cheerful. I always feel she is a “Red Sun”. She is the most beautiful girl that I have ever seen. She often helps me and plays with me. We became good friends at once. Since then, I have been sanguine.
Now, I am still a happy girl. I'm often moved by the world. I think our life is so short, and it isn't easy for people to live in the world. I've learned to help others and to cry. I've also learned to be happy and grateful. I also understand that crying doesn't mean “coward”, crying can mean “visualize a bright future!”
Though she has lots of new friends and I have many too, she will be my best friend forever, because she has taught me a lot.

英语作文二：My Hobby
A hobby can be almost anything a person likes to do in his spare time. Hobbyists raise pets, build model ships, weave bas-kets, or carve soap figures and so on. In a word, hobbies offer en-joyment, friendship, knowledge and relaxation.
Then, what is my hobby? Well, what I like most is singing. I began to sing songs when I was very young. My uncle was studying in a college then, so he could sing lots of songs, and he taught me several songs. I showed great interests in the music then, for they were pleasing to ears and easy to sing. My uncle told me they were called pop songs.
When I grew up, my music teacher found that I had a good voice, so she sent me to the Children's Palace to study vocal mu-sic. From then on, I began my vocal music training. And then I knew there were several kinds of songs, like folk songs, pop songs and so on. What I had learned most was the songs for children. They were all simple ones but our teacher trained us very strictly. We practiced how to produce sound and how to make our expres-sion more natural and more pleasing. Those simple training didn't reduce my interest in singing at all and I won awards one after another in several kinds of competition. Actually I began to make up a dream of becoming a famous singer in the future.
As time went by, I came to realize that my dream wouldn't come true for there were strict conditions of being a singer. But I still took singing as my hobby since I found in music the interests which were lost in the exams. When I put all my emotion into singing a song, it gave me very good and very pleasant feelings, and a good chance to relax. Besides, it was a good way to learn things that couldn't be easily found in life.
Now as I'm saying goodbye to my childhood my voice has changed into a deep male voice, and therefore I can sing a lot of songs written for adults. I am often deeply moved, by the melody or by what the song writers said. I can feel that these words come from the bottom of their hearts: "All my best memories come back clearly to me. Some can even make me cry, just like before. It's yesterday once more. ""Heal the world, make it a place, for you and for me and the entire human race". When I sing these songs, tears well up in my eyes.

I was born in a small county which is poor. Therefore, there were no beautiful clothes or many toys. Before I went to school at six, I only played with my peers nearby. It was such a wonderful period that I would never forget. We always made our toys independently, which cost no money at all. Sometimes, parents would help making toys as well. We could play from morning to night until parents told us to go home for dinner. However, as a rural child, I must help my parents doing farm work in the busy season, such as planting and harvesting. The summer holiday came, and my family decided to go to the Qinhuang Island to spend a few days there. On the first day of our trip, we climbed up the hill called Xifeng, which is near the coast. You can’t imagine how wonderful the view was from the top of Xifeng. Here was an overall picture of the small town. We saw lots of white buildings with red roofs among big green trees. There was the vast sea with many little green islands on it.
The next day we got up early and went excitedly to the beach near the hotel to watch the sun rising. We looked to the east. The clouds were reddish and then turned bright red. Soon the sun slowly showed half of her face.The sky around the sun was very bright and suddenly the sun had a leap from the sea and her full face appeared with golden rays setting out. The sea looked as if it was covered with red silk. The sight was so beautiful that we would never forget it.
Not only is the scenery beautiful there, but the people there are very friendly. We also bought many things, such as necklaces, shells and a lot of sea food.
To our disappointment, we had to leave the island. But we’ll always remember this trip and the people there.
