April Fool's Day is traditionally a day to play practical jokes on others, send people on fool's errands, and fool the unsuspecting. No one knows how this holiday began but it was thought to have originated in France.

上岗一个学期这几个月时光中，转眼间。深深的体会到这份工作纯真及美好。作为“孩子王”与孩子在一起的氛围是任何现代装饰手段都无法营造。望着那一张张天真可爱的笑脸，一切的烦恼与忧愁刹那间消退，生活的诗画便在眼前飞扬，使心田灿烂，温馨甜美我觉得小学教师是一个纯真和美好的职业。有人形容小学教师看起来永远都是那么的年轻和充满朝气。这种形容不无道理。当你面对孩子们那双清澈无比又充满童真的眼睛时，当你聆听着他银铃般的笑声时，每个人都仿佛又重新回到童年时光。这让我更叫喜欢这个职业，让我觉得这份职业如此纯真美好。
英语教学上日趋成熟，可喜的经过半年的学习、积累、探索。逐渐收放自如，总结出了一套自己的教学方法。现简单列出：
一、激发兴趣。
将会使教学工作取得事半功倍的效果，兴趣是孩子们最好的老师。使学生带着浓厚的兴趣去学习。这是教学中最深刻的体会。激发小学生的学习兴趣并不难。小学生初学英语，对英语充满了好奇与向往，与中文迥然不同的语音语调使他跃跃欲试，欧洲国家的风土人情使他眼界大开，再加上课堂上，使用了大量的彩图、实物、头饰、音乐等作为教学工具，设计了丰富多采的教学游戏，让学生在玩中学，学中玩，身心愉悦地上英语课，不知不觉中就掌握了知识，使英语成为他最喜欢的科目。
英语课便比较没有新鲜感了而且随着内容的加深，但更重要的将这一学习的激情保持下去。学生到四、五、六年级。学生也渐感吃力。对高年级的学生，一方面我适当改变教法，设计出更新颖有效的游戏活动辅助学生理解、记忆，激发学习兴趣，另一方面，也在尝试新的激情激发点。比如，英语对话、竞赛、表演中让学生尽情、自由发挥，体验成功的喜悦与满足；课外举行效仿欧美习俗的聚会等，让学生有机会在浓厚的英语氛围中学习英语，从而产生学英语、说英语的强烈愿望。

三、严抓书写。

四、英语教学中贯彻道德教育原则。
古人概括为“传道、授业、解惑”把道德教育放到首位。教书必先育人，教师的职责。英语科也不例外。小学英语教材中，有许多礼貌用语，如：thankyou！excusme。sorry。afteryou。等；有教人拾金不昧的小故事；有发人深省的寓言；有宣扬团结互助的短文我绝不放过这样的教育机会，除了句子、短文的阅读、理解教学外，更让学生去体会其中的精神。让学生在课堂模仿操练之余，也延伸到日常生活中去，成为个人的一种情操。如今，学生已将thankyou！sorry。thatsallright。等挂在嘴边，文明有礼成了一种风气。

时光如白驹过隙，转眼已到期末。回顾本学期的教学工作，虽偶有生气、不愉快，但收获更多的是孩子们带给我的快乐和感动。下面我从以下三方面总结一下本学期的教学工作：
一、教学研究：
三年级才开始真正接触英语，学生的学习兴趣影响以后的英语学习。所以，我本学期的宗旨是培养学生学英语的浓厚兴趣，在此基础上扎扎实实上好每一单元。根据三年级学生活泼好动的特点，我在课上给他们设计了动静结合的游戏活动，如：猜猜我是谁、炸弹在哪里、吊死鬼、小老师等等，充分调动学生课堂的积极性，让更多的学生参与进来！
小学生的模仿性特别强，“cartoon time”部分我会让他们上台扮演猫和老鼠，在感知课文的基础上，体会当时的人物感情变化，模仿动物的语音语调，让其他同学当评委，给扮演者打分。在此过程中小观众们也过了一把瘾，所以他们最喜欢的就是cartoon time了。我们的教材设计的非常好，短语、句子都贴近生活。为了活学活用，我经常让孩子们自编对话，把书中的人物名字改成自己的好朋友或喜欢的明星，这样一来，课堂气氛一度不受控制！结果是孩子们在轻松愉悦的氛围中掌握了重难点。在狠抓口语的同时，我也落实了书写，家庭作业循序渐进，从默写字母、单词到默写句子，孩子们一部一个脚印，轻松快乐地打好了地基。
二、师生关系以及家校合作：
苏霍姆林斯基曾说过：“没有爱，就没有教育！”所以，我一直相信爱的力量，我给孩子们写信，和他们亲切的聊天，表扬学生的每一次进步。我相信孩子们能感受到我对他们的爱，事实证明的确如此，他们用自己的方式回馈给我更多的尊重与喜爱。操场上见到我，大老远跑过来，只为说一声：老师好！下课后去我办公室找我聊天，圣诞节前的那一天，我收到了很多爱心苹果和卡片。这一切，让我内心充斥着前所未有的满足感。
经常听其他老师讲：家校合作，才能共赢。切身实践后，我的感受更深。我很庆幸遇到了很多重视孩子教育，愿意配合老师的家长。因为有了他们的帮助，孩子们才有了明显的进步，同时我也感受到了小花朵们慢慢绽放的喜悦。有些家长宁愿少赚点钱，也要多陪伴孩子的学习，有些家长为了孩子接受更好的教育，选择把孩子从老家接到城里读书。我也经常与家长沟通，反馈孩子最近的学习情况，并要求他们起到监督作用，大部分家长配合的比较好！相信有了他们的帮助，学生以后的学习会如虎添翼，更上一层楼。
三、教学中的不足之处。
1.对学困生的关注不够。每个班都有几个学不动、家长也不管的学生。老师如何对待他们，很重要！如果放任自流，只会恶性循环，学生越学越跟不上，越学越不想学。此时的补差显得很重要，之前时间安排不合理，各方面对学困生的帮助不够，以后需要加强对他们的关注。
2.对教材研究不够，专业能力有待提高。我们常说，要给学生一杯水，老师要有一桶水。我觉得老师不仅要有一桶水，还要长流水。怎样长流水？当然要有“源头活水来”，要持续不断地学习，并且言传身教。教师自己如果没有高昂的学习热情，只是一味地要求学生好好学习，这样的要求是没有说服力的。所以，以后我会认真钻研教材，每月读两本专业书，多听优秀老师的课，向有经验的老师请教，同时不忘反思日常教学工作，在实践中改善教学方法，进一步提升课堂效率！

本学期我们把教学研究的重点放在对五年级教材的分析和研究上：根据五年级教材的特点、主要内容，对教材提出了整合的研究意向，将较难把握的内容筛选出来共同分析、比较，确定了具体的操作方法。微观上，我们以一个典型单元为例，就单元内容的课节划分，重难点的把握，语言目标的确定，任务的科学设计，以及练习题的编写和筛选，包括每课的预复习作业的安排进行探讨研究，大家交换不同的想法，彼此在争辩中进行思维的碰撞，在分歧中启迪心智、激发灵感。
2、组织校内示范课、公开课，开展听课、评课活动。
本学期安排了张晓翠、姚水财两位教师上示范课、公开课。每一位开课教师都要以说课的形式，结合教学理论，讲述教学流程安排的理由和想法;全体教师都参与评课并由一位教师主评。教研组还组织教师参加市级、镇级的优质课、示范课的听课，学习先进的教学经验，并结合本校本班的实际情况提出自己的教学调整方案。
3、积极开展课题研究工作，提高教学效果。
