每学期结束前的“三好学生”评选,由于学校有评选名额限制,因此欢乐的孩子总是班级成绩优秀的那几个,因为这种评价方式,首先是以分数论英雄,而学生之间的个体差异,让多数孩子从小就要品尝失败的滋味,这也是造成学生厌学的重要原因。

新教育的核心理念之一就是“重视精神状态,倡导成功体验”。那么,如何才能让我校的每一个孩子都能体验到成功的喜悦,拥有幸福的童年呢?

为此,我们重新设计了我校的学生成长手册——《缤纷童年》。这本成长手册从册名征集,到版块设置、封面设计都凝聚了我校师生的智慧和汗水。

一、册名征集

关于学生成长手册的册名,一开始是我一个人在思考,应该取个怎样的名字才合适?这个名字既要能体现我们学校的办学理念,又要适合每一个孩子的个性特点。我想了好几个名字,拿不定主意,于是就跟老师们商量,其中一位老师提醒我,孩子们的成长手册,册名的设计应该让孩子们来参与。我一听,这主意真好!于是我们就在三至六年级开展了“我的册名我做主”册名征集活动,要求孩子们不但要设计册名,更要讲出自己的理由。各班先在班内进行评选,然后每个班推荐五个同学的册名参加学校评选,经过筛选,我们又从中挑选了三个比较好的册名让学生投票表决,最后获票最多的就是“缤纷童.年”。此项活动中,孩子们参与的积极性都很高,每个参与活动的孩子都发挥了他们无限的想象力。其实,学生身上会有很多值得老师学习的地方。难怪童话大王郑渊沽在皮皮鲁讲堂都称呼他的学生为老师,可在我们的学校,能称呼学生为老师的有几个人呢?

二、版块设置

在版块设置上,我校的《缤纷童年》力求做到全面反映学生小学六年的学校、家庭以及社会生活情况,并对之进行有效评价,让每个孩子都能在六年级毕业时,拥有一本与众不同的《缤纷童年》。

版块一:校园之星评选

从2013年起,我校不再评选“三好学生”,取而代之的是“12加N”的“校园之星”评价模式,“12”为12个单项奖,“N”为特长奖。我们将学生的日常行为习惯细化为“讲究卫生”“生活自理”“尊敬师长”“热爱劳动”“博览群书”等12个单项奖,每一个单项奖还设计了三至四个评价标准。对于特长奖的设置,我们没有规定具体项目,只要是学生认为自己有过人之处,都可以申请特长奖。学生获满12个单项奖,另加一个特长奖,即可申报“校园之星”奖。每学年的六年级毕业联欢会和“校园之星”颁奖一起举行,每年这个时候,是我校最热闹的,也是所有孩子最期盼的,因为即使是成绩最差的学生,只要达到申报奖项的标准,就可以获奖。

版块二:学生成长记录

学生成长记录分六个年级十二学期进行设置,每个学期分别由“成长在线”“我行我秀”“校内综合素质评价”“校外综合素质评价”“学科成绩”“我的假期设计”六个单元。

“成长在线”又分为“我的阅读书目”“我的获奖纪录”“我的心里话”三部分;“我行我秀”是让学生用图画或文字的形式记录本学期最值得自己骄傲的事情;“校内综合素质评价”是由班主任老师对学生的十二个单项进行评价;“校外综合素质评价”是由家长对学生的十二个单项进行评价;“学科成绩”是用等级记录学生本学期各科的考试成绩;“我的假期设计”引导学生对自己在假期里想阅读的书目、想参加的社会实践活动进行初步规划,并要求家长对其进行星级评定。这样的记录,涵盖了学生生活的方方面面,评价内容具体,形式多样,有自我评价、同学评价、老师评价、家长评价。在评价的同时,其实也是一次心与心的交流。

版块三:学生毕业留念

每到学生即将毕业的时候,都有很多学生到小店里买毕业纪念册,式样单一的纪念册,其实对小学生来说意义不大,很少有学生将它好好保存。于是我们在《缤纷童年》的最后,设计了“学生毕业留念”这一版块。这一版块又分为毕业寄语和毕业赠言两部分,毕业寄语是我写给每一位即将毕业的孩子的一封信,对学生小学六年的生活做简要的回顾,对今后的学习、生活提出殷切的期望。

在信的末尾我这样写道:“这本成长手册,已跟随你六年,它是你成长的最好见证。它记录了你的成绩,你的梦想,你的进步。同时,也记录了老师、家长、同学对你的呵护和期待。它是母校送给你的最好的礼物,希望你好好保存。

再过两个月,你就要步人初中的大门,校园变了,同学变了,老师也变了,但有一样,希望永远都不要变,那就是我们小学黑板上方的那六个大字‘读好书,做好人’。将来,无论你走到什么地方,从事什么职业,都要记住成长手册扉页上的那句话:让人们因我的存在而感到幸福。”

三、封面设计

对于封面设计,我们也进行了好几轮的修改,从图片的选择到文字的设计,我们都经过了反复的思考,以便能更好地凸显我校的办学理念。

在封底,我们写了这么一首小诗:

这本成长手册得到了学生以及家长的一致认同,对学生的评价效益也逐步显现。记得去年秋季学期的学期末,五(3)班的一个女孩子早晨到校遇到我,笑眯眯地问我:“校长,我可以申报‘文明礼貌奖’吗?”我说:“当然可以。”她一听,蹦蹦跳跳地跑走了。其实,这个孩子是一位学困生,但每次遇到我,都要热情地跟我打招呼。如果是以前,奖状肯定与她无缘,但自从我校实施了“校园之星”评价模式,像这样的孩子也能阳光、快乐、幸福地成长。
