2、大学英语四级考试，即CET-4，College English Test Band 4的缩写，是由国家教育部高等教育司主持的全国性英语考试。考试的主要对象是根据教育大纲修完大学英语四级的在校专科生、本科生或研究生。大学英语四、六级标准化考试自1986年末开始筹备，1987年正式实施。

1. 格式要正确。与其他应用文写作一样，书信体裁需要在正文的前面加上称呼，在正文的末尾加上结束语，落款和署名。
2. 标点符号要正确。Dear+称谓的后面一定要用逗号，不能用冒号。还要注意英语的句号是实心的，并且涉及到书名、电影名或者作品名的，要大些，英语中没有书名号。
