语法填空考点类型分为有提示词和无提示词两大类，侧重考查学生的英语综合运用能力。只要学生从全文出发，根据语境、行文逻辑和自身已有的语法与词汇知识，答题时就能顺水推舟，最终确定正确的答案。教师在教学中可以把写作和语法填空相互转换，让学生在同一内容的变换中同时掌握两种题型的应对策略，提高学习英语的效率。现就两种题型的答题方法进行探讨。如，复习完Unit 4 M 1 Earthquakes后，我让学生根据中文和英文提示，运用本单元所学知识进行话题写作：描述2008年5月12日汶川地震发生时的情况。然后在单元小测时，我就把范文改为如下语法填空：阅读下面材料，在空白处填入适当的内容或刮号内单词的正确形。1 May 12th，2008，an earthquake struck Wenchuan.2 whole nation was shocked at the news.
