秘书专业是一个职业性很强的专业，因其适应范围广、培养成本较低，在很多普通高校和各类高职院校均有开设。作为专科层次的秘书专业学生在毕业前要完成毕业论文的写作，近年来由于扩招和就业压力所致，不同层次不同专业学生的毕业论文质量均有下降，秘书专业也不例外。相比其他专业，秘书专业毕业论文还存在选题范围较窄、理论性不强等问题。在当前对本科专业是否需要撰写毕业论文尚有争议的情况下，对专科层次的秘书专业是否有必要进行毕业论文的写作在认识上和实际操作中更是存在分歧。有些学校完全取消这一环节，从规范教学管理、提高办学层次的目的出发，一些保留了专科层次毕业论文写作环节的学校，在毕业论文写作和答辩中也存在走过场的现象。由于秘书专业本身尚不成熟，学生在写作毕业论文时理论储备不足，论文雷同甚至抄袭的现象较多，秘书专业的毕业论文写作环节成为秘书专业培养过程中需要突破的瓶颈。
笔者认为，作为对所学知识和理论进行梳理、整合，将在校期间所学综合运用的一次实践性练兵，毕业论文撰写环节是必不可少的，且针对秘书这一对学生的写作素质和能力均有较高要求的专业，毕业论文写作更是其学业训练、职业能力培养的一个重要组成部分。笔者所在学校已有二十余年的开设秘书专业的历史，对毕业论文的环节要求严格，近几年在毕业论文的指导中越来越突出的感觉到秘书专业毕业论文的指导需改进，尤其在三个方面要严格把关。
一、选题宜真
按论题的性质不同进行分类，毕业论文的论题可分为：真题真做，真题假作和假题真做三种类型。真题真做是指以来自实践第一线的尚待解决的实际问题作为毕业论文的选题，运用所学理论真刀实枪的演练，力求找到解决实际问题的方法。真题假作是指论文选题来源于实际，但做论文时可只在理论上加以解决，或者来源于实践的论题已部分得到解决，学生运用所学理论和知识模拟解决实际问题，或可得出一个全新的结论。假题真做是指虚拟的题目，学生要对这一虚拟问题进行实际的演练，运用所学理论进行分析、论证，以求找到解决方法和途径。
以上三种类型的论题，目的都是通过毕业论文的写作使学生对所学理论和知识进行复习、梳理、整合，并运用所学理论和知识，对所学专业有针对性地进行科学研究，通过这个过程,能使学生初步掌握分析和解决某一学术问题的能力和方法。使学生的在校学习得到一个提升。对学生进行查阅资料、调查研究、分析综合、语言表述等能力是一次全面训练。
笔者认为以上三种类型中的前两类论题可作为秘书专业的毕业论文选题，作为实践性较强的一个新兴专业，应以真题作为首选，不宜选择模拟题目。
秘书专业毕业论文题目的“真”应包括与学生实践环节的紧密结合的论题和纯理论性研究的论题，
纯理论性的题目又可笼统分为历史性论题和现实性论题。历史性论题需在查阅大量资料的基础上分类研究，并分析论证对现实的意义和影响，这对专科学生来说难度较大。如某时期的秘书制度的研究、古代秘书的某方面素质能力的研究等。现实性论题中理论性强的论题，对于专科秘书专业学生也难以把握。因为不同行业、不同领域对秘书各方面素质和能力的要求差异很大，只有短暂实习经历的学生对理论性较强、适用范围较广的论题把握起来难度较大。为完成毕业论文的写作，难免会出现或大量复制抄袭、或以叙述事例代替论述的现象，以掩饰和弥补理论不足的弱点，从而导致论文的质量难如人意。如历届学生在毕业论文选题时爱选“秘书的素质”等在教科书中被论述的较全面的论题。这样的选题省事、好写，不出彩也不易出错，答辩时易通过。写作时有大量的参考资料可供直接使用，写出来的内容放之四海而皆准，但没有任何实际价值。
在真题中作为专科层次的毕业生应首先考虑实际工作中遇到的问题，这样做，就可以将学生的实习、社会实践及就业等环节衔接、联系起来，使教学中的实践环节真正扎实有效，同时也使学生的毕业论文有实际和实践的意义。选题时应突出研究和适用范围，要求在对论题进行深入调查研究的基础上完成，。
二、角度宜实：笔者所在学校近年来对秘书专业毕业论文的选题进行较严格的把关，力图使论题有针对性和现实意义，也就是做到选题真。但学生在写作中常老调重奏、老生常谈，毫无新意且简单重复已有的观点、结论。如论秘书信息工作的有效性、秘书写作能力的研究、论秘书角色意识的培养、论秘书的挡驾艺术、秘书腐败等论题都已有较多论述，如何使论文在已有的研究基础上能进一步深入、拓展，就有角度选择的问题。
在指导学生进行毕业论文的写作中，对其所得出的结论的论证过程严格把关，做到真题真做。紧密联系学生的实习和社会实践，要求、鼓励学生在实际工作中探寻问题，将所学的具有普遍性的理论与秘书的实际工作相结合，使秘书工作某一方面的突出问题得到较有针对性的分析、研究并寻找解决的方法和途径。如：不同行业、不同社会组织中的秘书所处的环境千差万别，在秘书工作的办文、办事、办会和辅助领导决策等四个环节中，工作内容和侧重点也不尽相同，学生不可能对所有社会组织中的秘书工作都有所了解，但经过实习和社会实践，可以有针对性的进行研究。对同一类、同一层次、同一行业的社会组织中的秘书工作进行调查、分析、研究。然后通过指导教师的引发，使之对论题的认识有所提高，并找到清晰的分析方法，获得一种学术的眼光。在此过程中，使学生初步认识和掌握从事学术研究的基本途径和规则，接触和了解学术前沿状况。同样是秘书的办文，在小型私企中会有其特殊性，鼓励、要求、指导学生发现其特殊性，从而对秘书办文的选题就可从一个新突破口入手
要做到真和实，需在实习前就布置学生发现问题进行思考研究，并做一系列的调查，从而为毕业论文的写作打下基础。
三、篇幅适中：目前对专科学生毕业论文的字数各学校要求不同。笔者从多年指导秘书专业的毕业论文的经验中体会到，无论是从文风的角度还是从严把论文质量关的角度考虑，秘书专业毕业论文不宜过长。我校为杜绝学生抄袭论文，最初规定字数达到一万，但其结果是空话连篇，在写法上加入很多实例进行详细叙述。成为一个理论（或公认的结论）后面跟一个甚至多个例子的叙述。因论文水分过大，影响了论文质量，也对秘书专业学生的文风是一个不好的引领。近两年来，对篇幅要求进行了修改，改为八千字，师生普遍感到仍嫌过长，对于专科层次的秘书专业学生来说，论文的理论性不可能很强，选题一般较具体，将一个问题观点清晰、论据充分的论证完整，以五千字左右为宜。既可避免抄袭、说空话或背离论文基本写法，又可得到初步的学术研究的训练，这也就达到专科生毕业论文环节要达到的目的了。

一、把握思想动态、抓准插入点、争做学生的领头羊；
初三（5）自分班之日起，总人数为33人，由于刚接手，因此我并没有事事急于求成，在班级中没有过多的去评价学生过去的历史，因为没有调查就没有发言权。在本学期的第一个班会课上，我仅仅是从“先学会做人后谈学习”及“增强自信”两个方面跟学生进行了交流。因为班会是我们进行德育教育的主要阵地。平时利用班会课开展一些有教育意义的主题班会，组织学生观看一些有教育意义的影片，对学生进行正确的思想引导，理想教育和爱国教育等。因此，在本次班会课上我发现了33双眼睛充满着渴望、希望及期待。面对他们年少天真的脸庞，我心中暗自伤心，因为在前面的日子当中，调皮、懒惰等等一个个让人难以接受的名词就跟大衣一样披在学生的身上。为了让他们快点脱掉这可恶的外套，我把精力侧重于鼓励，希望他们生活充满激情、阳光、快乐、精彩……。
个性人人都有，如果一个老师没有具备先学生之忧而忧的精神是无法担任班主任的。面对33名学生，开学两个多月我并没有要求他们的成绩显著提高，只是要求不要违规的条件下去适应新的生活。两个月很快过去了，在这两个月当中，我的工作重心在了解学生，所以我早已经慢慢的去了解全班学生的基本情况。从教室到操场；从操场到住处；从住处到饭堂。对于33位学生，我分类管理，例如第一类“个性极张扬”的同学有：陈君君、吴荣进、黎孙豪、邢益豪、曾令威、蔡秀珍等等；第二类是“性格内向”第三是处于中间部分的。这样分类完之后对自己的管理起到了很方便的作用，因为我可以对症下压了。
二、关注班级文化建设、创造和谐学习氛围
健全班级文化，利用学习园地、班级一角、黑板报进行德育宣传教育。加强学生的理想教育，鼓励学生努力学习，实现理想。为了加强班级凝聚力，我还带领他们经常开展有意义的班队活动，在活动中拉近彼此的距离，形成团结向上的良好班风。我也利用课余时间和学生们一起布置美化班级，出好每一期班刊，给学生一片更加美丽而又适合展示自己的舞台，营造一个温馨而又充满朝气的学习环境。
三、协助学生确立自己的奋斗目标
班内统一奋斗目标，努力争夺13届中考的辉煌，鼓励学生确定自己的目标。
四、经常找班里的基础较差的学生谈心，稳定他们的情绪，及时帮助他们发现身上的优缺点，肯定进步的同时指出缺点，督促其改正某些不良习气，促使他们加强自我管理和纠正，不断进步。
五、加强优良学风的形成
1、要求学生养成课前做好准备工作，上课要求学生认真听讲，认真独立完成作业。让学生在书上学习记一些简单的笔记，提高课堂的学习效率。课后能及时与任课教师联系，了解学生各学科的学习情况，针对个体制定措施，帮助其把学习成绩搞上去。
2、要求学生重视每一次大小考试。做到考前认真准备，考后认真总结，不断取得进步。在复习阶段，积极配合各任课教师辅导学生开展复习工作，培养学生良好的学习态度和习惯。
3、班级树立学习的榜样，让学生们向班里学习成绩优秀的同学学习，每人为自己找一个对手，树立近期目标和长期目标，增强竞争意识。经常进行学习评比，做好奖励工作。
七、加强家校联系
1、采用多种途径与家长保持密切的联系，经常和家长交流学生的在校情况和在家里的表现，让家长们起到协助、配合与监督的作用，使家庭教育参与到学校教育中来。
